Whey also supplies more of the three most critical muscle building amino acids. These three - leucine, isoleucine and valine - are known as the branch chain amino acids (BCAAs).

Whey Protein is pure whey that has gone through a microfiltration process in order to remove all of the impurities as well as the lactose and carbohydrate content. That leaves you with pure, muscle building protein.

Q : When Should I take Brotein Pure Whey?

A : Brotein Pure Whey is an ideal post workout supplement. Take one serving within an hour of your workout to supply the amino acids that your muscles need to recover and grow.

Q : How much whey protein should I take?

A : The recommended minimum daily protein intake for a healthy sedentary adult is 0.8 grams of protein per kg of bodyweight. For a 150-pound individual this would work out to 55 grams of protein. For a person involved in athletic training, such as cardio, plyometrics or resistance training, this increases to between 1.4-2.0 grams per kg of body weight, depending on the intensity of training. That works out to between 95-135 grams of protein for a 150-pound individual.

Q : Is too much protein bad for you?

A : Yes, consuming too much protein can be problematic. Even though Brotein has removed the lactose content from its whey, taking too much whey can result in bloating, flatulence and burping.
